Game Three

Game Three was a great soccer night, sunny and 60 something outside and our girls played a great game of soccer. They fought for every goal tonight. Madeline scored our first two goals, Samantha got the third and Maya tied up the game. Final score 4-4. Whatever the coaches said after halftime really got the girls going second half. I follow the game with my lens but behind the lens you dont' always know if you will capture the goal. Depending on my focus and the speed I don't always get that exact moment. Our goalies did a great job on goal this week the other team made a lot more attempts to score than made it. Great job coaches!
Go Comets!!

Madeline's goal goes in
Maya celebrates Sammy's goal getting past the goalie
Maya's goal ties up the game.

I love Jazzy's high kicks

Even a hot air balloon could not distract the girls from their game

Game Two...Go Comets

Look at Wayne hollering at those girls

How exciting this week's game turned out to be. After last week's big win we probably thought this season would be easy against the Tigers. But Coach Kevin remembers when we played them this past fall it was a tough loss. The Tigers scored first but our Comets scored and tied up the game. The girls played really great and had a good time as always. The girls did sing Happy Birthday to Jazzy's dad, boy was he surprised. Then a few of the girls went to Don and Millies for some dinner. Great weather and great game. Go Comets!!!

Had to put in the GOAL since I caught it this time.

Isn't this funny, what are those girls doing?

First Game of Spring 09- Comets

Rachel has an awesome force field around the goal when she is there, she stops it all.

Maya played an awesome game tonight.

I know mom was hoping I got a funny one of Jazz on the ground but look at the air she got...wow

First game of the season the girls were so excited to see each other and play soccer. Coach Kevin put them through the drills at their first practice and they had a good time seeing each other again. Tonight's game was later and the sun was fading but that did not stop the excitement. And welcome to our new soccer team mate Hallie.

I heard we are keeping score this year and we love a Win...tonight's game ended 8-1

Those Comets rocked the soccer field. Great work Coach Kevin and Coach Wayne.

Lets go Comets!!
