Comets Spring Soccer Party June 09

Here is the collage I made for the coaches.

Tonight was last soccer party for the Arsenal Comets...great season for our girls. Too bad a few girls could not make the party. Fun times, good pizza, happy girls.

The Last Game as the Arsenal Comets

Wow what a great game today- Madison, Jasmine, Taylor, Maya, Claire, Samantha H, Rachelle, Hallie, & Samantha T played awesome. We missed you Madeline. Coaches you really gave your all this season. Finishing in a tie 2-2 is a great finish to the season. Our defense really kept the Cherry Bombs from scoring YEAH GIRLS!!! Looking forward to Comets Team Party.

Game 7- Heartbreaking Loss

Tonight's game was a tough game for the girls, coaches and us parents especially in the heat. Heartbreaking to see all the efforts not end up in a goal for the girls. We don't have to mention the final score. They did play really good, just couldn't get that goal. Our defense sure worked hard as well as all the goalies. One more game and then it is time to celebrate another great Comets season. Thanks coaches.

I did miss those dancing shots sorry Mom's.

Great game in the rain tonight...but due to sideways rain I could not bring out the camera. I bet I could have got some great shots if the rain let up just for a bit.

Happy Cinco de Mayo,
What an exciting game it was tonight. The girls played so well tied up the game against another great competitor. They really are learning how to play soccer. I know as a parent my stomach hurt by the end of the game so tense. A great ending of 5-5 with that last goal counting for us.
